30K-5 Op at K0CXX

Designed by Warren Bruene and introduced in the early 50s, this beautiful transmitter uses a pair of 75THs to modulate a 4-125 in the final. The result is a solid workhorse 250 Watt AM transmitter covering 2-30 mHz.  It was used extensively for commercial service and serves on today on the amateur bands. See the Q4 2005 Signal Magazine for more details.
