Narrated by Iowa broadcasting personality Cary J. Hahn, the film features the people who knew him best – including his eldest son, Michael Collins, who will also introduce the 24 minute film.

The one hour program will start at 7:30 PM, Friday, October 9, 2015 in the Coe College Sinclair Auditorium. It is open to the public and admission is free. Rarely seen artifacts, representing key innovations from the Collins Radio Company, will be on display and a question and answer session will close the program. This is a special opportunity to see and hear about the legacy of Arthur Collins and the company he created with its tremendous impact on the growth and economy of Cedar Rapids and the State of Iowa.

This video documentary is the first in a planned series to tell the story of the man who shunned publicity, yet created one of the most advanced communications and avionics companies in the world. “It is a story of vision, innovation, and leadership in the
technology arena that will inspire anyone interested in the historical technical events that helped shaped our world today.” – Rod Blocksome, President, Arthur A. Collins Legacy Association.
