All,

I am in the process of restoring an older 516F-2 power supply that has been modified for solid state rectifiers, new caps, series dropping resistor and the addition of the AC power control relay.

All of the original OEM high voltage wiring is #16 AWG. The wiring leads to both inductors L1 and L2 are #30 AWG wire. My question, have these inductors been somehow modified to interconnect with such small gauge wire?

I can't think of any reason to go from a #16 gauge high voltage insulated wire to a #30 blue type jumper wire.

The wire coloring on L1 is yellow and white, the wire coloring on L2 is black. Again, both inductors have #30 size wire.

Any suggestions. . .

Tnx,

Byron
