Hello all..yup I'm new to this group but frankly I'm not sure where to turn in my query..I've become the dubious owner of a HF8050..it's DOA..found two crispy critters on two diff boards..can't visually identify due to charcoal effect.....output bd assy 635-4930-002 rev M sub assy 635-4925-002 rev G..1/4watt resistor tied to transistor 2n5109...on volt reg bd assy 635-0656-001 rev C black plastic cap near 8 pin IC F8151....not sure why these two components failed but maybe somehow they are inter-related..if someone CAN help but needs more specific info then I'll do my best to provide it..it would be sweet to actually get it running again as this is my 1st venture down "Collins Avenue"..after 30+ yrs of hamming y'ud think I woulda by now..please guys as I told Pete K5PZ this IS my last ditch inquiry..THANKS!! 73 de DAVE
