I am helping with the restoration of the USSK-Cavalla in Galveston, TX. It has a URC-32 installed that we are considering using for amateur service. We are just getting to the planning stage. I would like to contact people with interest and knowledge of this equipment. The equipment looks good cosmetically, but as far as I know no attempt has been made to use it since the retirement of the boat in 1968.

Wow! I taught a LAB on that radio back in 1970 or 71. A great radio no doubt. The manual would be good to have... If you can't get it working let me know.
