Just received my lovely R388 today and it does work. Should I go ahead and change out the caps or should I leave as is.
Normally with something this old I would go ahead and change out the caps. This radio has mostly the dog bone caps. I am mainly concerned with the bathtub and filter caps. This is my first Collins receiver and I thought I would get some advice from Collins users.
