My Dad, Jack Wood K8ITS passed away in Nov. 2009. He had a Collins 30K-1 trans. and a KWM-2A tranceiver that he purchased in 1962 from Universal Service in Columbus, OH. The 30K-1 belonged to Mr. Forest Pilgrim-W4JD and then W.C. "Doc" Breth around 1953. This equipment is in good condition although it hasn't been used in maybe 20 years and is for sale. Dad was so proud to have this equipment, he thought it was out of reach for Mom and him in 1962. Mom surprised him by buying it for him. Anyone interested in pictures and/or making an offer, please contact me at 304-767-8289. We have the manuals and some letters from Collins Radio Co. about modifications that could be made to the unit and I think there are extra tubes.

The serial # is 41. Type 30-K, Model 1. I have several pictures, but can't get them on the forum. Any help in doing that is appreciated.
