The submarine USS Torsk, berthed in Baltimore, Maryland, has a URC-32 that is in need of repair. The Frequency Generator/RF tuner section has a broken belt and the odham coupler became decoupled. The Torsk Volunteer Organization, which does the restoration, maintenance and preservation of Torsk is looking for someone who can repair the RF tuner and get the transceiver back into service. Does anyone know of a person in the Baltimore area who is experienced with the maintenance and repair of this radio equipment?
