I worked as an engineer at Collins in the 60's to the early 70's in the military radio area to just after Rockwell bought them. I was an avid home builder and ham. I spent most of my free cash at the surplus store and buying S-lines. Being a packrat, I kept all my treasure-trove of parts. I have a vast store of them including PTO's, transformers, dial parts, crystal filters, and even about 10 pounds of assorted Collins screws and brackets. As an example, I have the engineering model of the 70E-15 and a production 70E-15 model, a 70E-20, an assortment of 70k-2's, etc. I have far too many parts to individually list them. Anyone have any ideas on the best way to sell them? I certainly would like to see them benefit Collins collectors. Tony WA8KOE

Tony, Ebay is certainly the most profitable. Cataloging, photographing and actually putting them up for sale is very time consuming. Taking it all to Dayton might be your best bet. Maybe you could find someone to help you do all of that for some of the parts or proceeds. Alot of work in any event. 73, Lynn

Tony WA8KOE Dear Tony, I have a 30S-1 amp which has had the input variable circuit components removed. Is there any chance that you happen to have to L110, L112, L112,L113 and L114 available? Also the "board and switch" with the rod that attaches to pin the front of the tube compartment? The "rear" of S102 is gone! And the C107,C108, C109, C110, and C145 are gone, and believe the C137, C138, C139, C147, C148 and C123 are also gone? Why? Must be the previous owner removed them and installed a 50 ohm unit (marked Globar Type CX -50 Ohms) in place of the tune-able devices -perhaps to make the entire unit simpler or something. To operate now will likely require the addition of an antenna tuner ahead of the inputs so it the transceiver actually sees a matching for each of the bands....aaarrrrhhhh....(!@!!@#$%^%&^&**()) and some more. Tony, would you happen to have the Switch Subassembly, S13 for the 32S-3? It's the relay type stack switch for Frequency Spotting.

I am looking for the neutralization capacitor network that was the later incorporation to replace the ceramic type capacitor to neutralize the 6146's. I am looking for what was done so that I can incorporate it in mine.
