My radio s/n 15016 caused R5 (PM-2) to fail slowly burning a hole in the board. The cause was either R122 going low and damaging V3 or the other way around. R12 has also failed and the balanced modulator appears damaged as is a resistor I can't seem to identify running from the bridge to a nearby post. All parts are conventional but I'm not sure about the balanced modulator.

I've owned this unit since I was at the factory in '66 and it has never caused any smoke, pretty good I'd say

Opinions?
