I have a 30S-1 that is tripping during transmission. I believe it is going out on a grid overload. A friend told me there was a mod out for that. I think the modification may disable K206 but I'm not sure. I looked in the service bulletins and I did get the Plate Overload mod but didn't see a service buuletin regarding Grid Overload. Is there a Grid Overload service bulletin or modification that may address this problem?
Any help would be much appreciated since the amplifier trps regularly making it very difficult to use.
