The first 10 years of Collins Radio, from 1933 to 1943, was the Golden age of a new era in communications. This was a time in which
real achievements in pioneering a new technology were everyday challenges in bringing a vast global communications industry quickly to maturity. This was the decade in which the foundations for the next half century of
communications technology were established. Over a dozen amateur transmitter models were produced in the first ten years of Collins Radio. While few have survived today, it was these products that established the
Collins reputation for quality, performance, and reliability. |
