CCA 7 Day Eastern Caribbean CCA Cruise
The CCA has a radio friendly cruise in the making. This cruise will be a joint membership activity with the QCWA. The dates are October 24-31, 2009. It will be a 7-day, Eastern Caribbean cruise. We have been informed by Holland America that the ship will be the brand new Eurodam --about 90% sure. The Eurodam is scheduled to be delivered in the summer of 2008. It will have 11 passenger decks, is 935 ft long, will carry a crew of 800, ships registry is the Netherlands and has a passenger capacity of 2104. Also included in the new design of the Eurodam will be an expanded Greenhouse Spa and Salon with Thermal suites and hydro-pool, the largest gymnasium ever built for Holland America and a youth facility that includes a teens-only loft. Depending on the number in our group, the travel service will provide one private cocktail party and each cabin will receive a minumum $50 shipboard credit.

As we have previously indicated, this is an amateur radio friendly cruise. Arrangements have been made with the Collins Radio Club to use the W0CXX call. On board activities such as Collins Radio seminars and other entertainment are in the planning stages.
